Target: Shiavax Jal Vazifdar, Chief Justice of Haryana
Goal: Demand the maximum penalty for the men who reportedly raped an Indian woman twice over a span of three years.
A student was reportedly raped while walking home from her classes in Haryana. The victim recognized two of the perpetrators from a previous attack three years earlier. Demand justice for this innocent woman.
The 21-year-old woman was found hidden in a park, unconscious. Five men reportedly abducted, strangled, and drugged her after pulling up next to her in a car. The woman claims this is not the first time she has been raped. She identified two of the five suspects as her previous rapists. Charges were dropped in that case after the suspects reportedly threatened her and her family.
Four of the suspects have been arrested. Two are out on bail, despite the woman’s concerns for her safety. Demand the maximum penalty in this case.
Dear Chief Justice Vazifdar,
Five men raped a Dalit woman, reports claim. The woman states that two of the five men had assaulted her in the past. We demand the maximum penalty in this case.
This is not the first time that this woman has endured such a violent attack. In 2013, she was reportedly raped twice in a span of four days. Though the suspects were arrested, the woman dropped the charges after they allegedly threatened her and her family.
In India, one woman is raped every 22 minutes. Much of this violence targets Dalits due to their lowest position in the caste system. We demand that you recommend the maximum penalty in this case.
