Target: Brad Wall, Premier of Saskatchewan, Canada
Goal: Aim for the maximum penalty for the person responsible for abusing and burning a kitten.
A kitten was reportedly lit on fire at a music festival in a disturbing case of animal cruelty. The incident reportedly occurred after a complaint was filed about an animal being abused at the Craven Country Jamboree campsite. The kitten, named Jamboree by festival staff, was taken to a veterinarian who says she has burns on her body, but is expected to recover.
Police have not provided any details regarding this case of animal cruelty except to say that they’re investigating a man. Many times, animal cruelty cases are swept under the rug and the abusers receive little to no punishment, causing the problem to become more rampant. That is why it’s imperative that we put pressure on the authorities to do the right thing and make sure that animal abusers are punished accordingly. Please tell the authorities in this case that Jamboree deserves justice and demand that they see to it that her abuser gets the maximum penalty.
Dear Mr. Wall,
A kitten was reportedly lit on fire by someone at a music festival. Police say they’re investigating a suspect, but it’s imperative that this violent person be apprehended before more innocent beings are harmed.
This disturbing case of cruelty against a small, innocent animal should not be tolerated. Please do everything in your power to ensure that this kitten gets the justice it deserves and the cruel person who set it on fire is given the maximum penalty possible.
