Pasqual Mendez allegedly negotiated a deal with the girl’s parents, paying thousands of dollars to fly her to the United States from Guatemala. Per his family, the underage girl did household chores and performed sexual acts for him.
Mendez was charged with one felony count of human trafficking, assault on a female, interfering with emergency communication and statutory rape of a child less than 15 years of age. We demand the maximum penalty in this case.
