Target: Herbert Slatery, Attorney General of Tennessee
Goal: Utilize all resources to find and prosecute whoever shot, burned, and beat a dog.
A Great Pyrenees was reportedly shot, burned, and severely beaten. The poor dog was 40 pounds underweight and suffered gunshot wounds to two legs, cuts all over its body, and a gash around its neck that is believed to have been caused by an electric shock collar. The dog managed to survive after rescuers took it for emergency care, but had to have its back leg and hip amputated.
The extent of torture inflicted upon this dog was so severe that animal control officers say they are afraid the person who did it could be harming people, too. The lives of animals and humans are in danger every minute that this violent attacker is on the loose. Demand that authorities do everything in their power to find the perpetrator and give them the maximum sentence for the torture of this dog.
