Target: E. Scott Pruitt, Attorney General of Oklahoma
Goal: Aim for maximum punishment for man who allegedly abused and neglected his elderly father and 30 animals.
A man reportedly left his elderly father, who was unable to care for himself, to live in a filthy home with 30 animals. Police say they found the elderly man on the ground, barely able to move, and in poor health. Upon seeing the walls and furniture covered in feces and an infestation of cockroaches and maggots, animal rescue volunteers say they vomited.
The elderly man was reportedly stuck in these horrendous conditions for a year, left alone when his son received a settlement check and moved out. Police say the man was taken to a nursing home while animal rescue volunteers took care of the 30 animals. Michael Sloan was arrested for cruelty to animals and elderly abuse.
This elderly man and his animals could’ve died because of his son’s neglectful, cruel actions. The least he could have done was arrange for someone to care for his father and pets. Please sign this petition to demand that these poor, helpless beings get the justice they deserve and that Michael Sloan be sentenced to the maximum extent, if guilty.
