Target: Robert C. White, Denver Chief of Police
Goal: Investigate officer accused of sexually assaulting a woman and remove him from force if allegations prove true.
A Denver police officer is in jail following allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman. David Munk, a three-year veteran of the force, was arrested by fellow officers after they received information from another Colorado police agency about the alleged rape, which reportedly occurred in Denver.
Based upon Munk’s departmental disciplinary records, this is not the first time he’s been accused of abusing his power as an officer. He’s been found in violation of departmental policy in three instances and has four pending incidents, including one of excessive force. It seems clear Munk is not fit to serve the people of Denver.
Demand that open allegations against Munk are investigated and that he is removed from the force if found to be guilty of sexual assault.
Dear Chief White,
Officer David Munk was recently arrested by fellow officers following allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman. In the three years Munk has been on the force, he’s proven to have a record of complaints and violations, including one pending complaint of excessive force. Given Munk’s history, it’s questionable if he’s fit to serve the people of Denver.
We demand that all allegations against Munk are investigated and that he’s removed from the force if he’s found guilty of rape.
