Revoke License of Vet Who Admits to Shooting Cat With Arrow

Target: Nicole Oria, Executive Director, Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners

Goal: Permanently revoke the license of a veterinarian who admitted to shooting a feral cat with a bow and arrow.

Dr. Kristen Lindsey is accused of killing a cat with a bow and arrow and posting about it on Facebook. Although criminal charges were dismissed, she admits that she shot feral cat because she thought it had rabies wanted to protect her own animals. Dr. Lindsey was fired from her job and is now facing a hearing before the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners to determine if she should be allowed to keep her license and continue to practice veterinary medicine.

Pet owners place a lot of trust in their veterinarians and the Board questions how Dr. Lindsey’s actions reflect on the entire profession–one which is intended to care for animals and uses euthanasia only as a last resort. They do not advocate the blatant murder of pets such as the actions of which Dr. Lindsey is accused.

Demand her license is revoked and she not be allowed to work around animals in the future.

Dear Ms. Oria,

Dr. Kristen Lindsey admits she fatally shot a feral cat with a bow and arrow and posted about it on Facebook. Although the criminal charges were dismissed, she has been fired from her job and is now facing revocation of her license.

As loving pet owners, we demand that Dr. Lindsey’s license is revoked and that she is barred from future work with animals.

She should never touch another animal she is a waste of space and oxygen

  2. ABSOLUTELY! This “vet” should never be allowed to pratice! If the Veterinarian Board allows her to practice then that’s a reflection on the Board. She violated her oath. She should be barred permanently from all and any practice with animals!!

  3. Caroline McCord says:

How can this sadistic b@st@rd be allowed to continue working as a vet her actions show that she doesn’t have the temperament or compassion that all vets should have. How the hell can she fire arrows into an innocent animal and then pose to have her picture taken with her victim. REVOKE HER LICENSE AND SACK HER NOW.

  4. Why would there even be a question in any ones mind that this woman would be able to keep her license. I would not let someone that could do something so vile and inhumane to an animal and then smile and post some wise crack about it’s death touch any of my beloved pets..

REMEMBER: This poor innocent baby was someones beloved pet and there is no excuse in this world that Lindsey could give that she should be allowed to practice medicine. Take her license forever………………..she deserves it!!
Now, Lindsey what smart remark would you like to post when you smile and lose your license?? I would not bring my pet frog for you to handle with your inhumane and perverted attitude. SICKO!

  5. no license for this cat killer now.

  6. sandra mason says:

this “woman” was just so especially nasty and since she is a veterinarian she makes it easy for other freaks to justify hunting cats, too. really, she has committed two crimes. she has presented a horrible example to all the yahoo’s who will take this as a reason to declare open season on cats.
