Target: David Cameron, Prime Minister of United Kingdom
Goal: Intervene to increase the measly sentence for two men who brutally tortured dog on film.
A video shows a helpless bulldog named Baby being repeatedly tortured while her tormentors ask if they should make the dog “scream more.” The dog is seen being head-butted and thrown repeatedly down stairs. The dog is also thrown against a wall, and at one point, a man stomps and jumps viciously on her head. The poor animal lost the use of her legs and survived only three months after the torture before having to be put down.
Andrew Frankish, a 22-year-old man, and an unnamed man were tracked down by the RSPCA and arrested for the torture of the dog, after the memory card from their phone that contained the video was found at a supermarket. The RSPCA did a great job tracking the cruel men down and seeing to it that they’re banned from having animals for life. However, their jail punishment was a measly 21 weeks along with small fines. This short duration in jail cannot possibly be enough punishment to the people that so gleefully tortured an innocent, helpless living being.
Dear Mr. Cameron,
A dog named Baby was seen in a video being viciously tortured and repeatedly thrown down stairs. At one point in the video, a man stomps the dog’s head. The poor animal suffered horribly, but the abusers were only sentenced to 21 weeks in jail.
The video shows how much the men enjoy the pure torment of this animal, and a short jail sentence will not rehabilitate them or keep them from performing these sick acts on another living being. We urge you to help ensure that these abusers are given a lengthier, harsher sentence.
