Target: David Brown, Dallas, Texas Chief of Police
Goal: Fire officer for allegedly shooting teenagers, killing one and injuring another.
Two teenagers were allegedly chased down and shot by an off-duty police officer who claims the kids were trying to break into his vehicle. One of the victims, who was only 16 years old, was killed while the other teenager was shot in the head and remains in the hospital. Ken Johnson reportedly chased the boys down while they were in their own vehicle, then rammed his SUV into them.
It sounds as if Johnson was terrorizing these two teenagers. He could’ve handled the situation without having to use a deadly weapon since the teenagers were unarmed. There’s no reason for these brutal killings. Demand that this police officer be brought to justice if guilty of using excessive force.
Dear Mr. Brown,
An off-duty officer is charged with the murder of a 16-year-old boy who he allegedly shot and killed. The officer claims that the victim and a friend was trying to steal his vehicle, so he chased them down and rammed into their vehicle before shooting them both. One of the boys was shot in the head.
It sounds like this officer intended to kill the boys or else he’d have chosen another method of handling the situation and most likely wouldn’t have shot them in the head. We urge you to see to it that this dangerous officer is fired if found guilty of using excessive force.
