Stop Violent Assaults By Trump Staff and Supporters

Donald Trump at Campaign Rally

Target: All U.S. law enforcement agencies and police departments

Goal: Start arresting and charging Donald Trump’s staff and rally attendees who assault protesters and reporters.

Violence at Donald Trump rallies has been increasing. The latest incidents include a black man being punched in the face by a white Trump supporter as the man was already being escorted off the premises, and a female reporter for the very conservative website Breitbart being yanked to the ground by one of Trump’s campaign managers for the apparent crime of asking the presidential candidate a question. The explanation given for the latter action was that they thought she was “a liberal.”

The violence surrounding these rallies is out of control. Thanks in part to Donald Trump actively inflaming the crowds, assault has become a regular feature of these events. Not even reporters for publications that have supported Trump are safe from random attacks. This kind of behavior is an embarrassment to the country and works as an intimidation tactic to keep dissenting voices out.

Violence in politics undermines our democracy and cannot be tolerated any longer. Law enforcement needs to step up and start arresting and charging rally attendees who commit assault. The campaign manager who assaulted the Breitbart reporter needs to be charged with a crime and held accountable. We have laws against assault in this nation for a reason, as every other nation does, and failure to enforce them is a complete failure of justice. Sign this petition to demand action from law enforcement across the U.S. to stop this shameful violence.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Law Enforcement Officers,

Campaign staff and supporters at Donald Trump rallies have gotten away with violent assault for too long. These events have become national embarrassments in which people are routinely assaulted, any dissenters and protesters are immediately and often violently removed, and even members of the press are yanked and thrown to the ground. All of this is endorsed and encouraged by the candidate, practically guaranteeing that it will get worse.

This cannot be allowed to continue. Wherever Trump rallies are being held, police officers should be dispatched to defend peaceful protesters and immediately arrest and charge those guilty of blatant assault, including and especially Trump’s campaign staff, who encourage violent attendees with their own examples of violence.

Please do your jobs and enforce assault laws by dispensing consequences for those who commit this crime. If you know crime is likely to be committed at a specific location, you should be there to protect the innocent.

Sincerely,

I support Trump. You people have to stop your intimidation and allow democracy to play out.

  2. Like everything else going on in this country today.. The violence and anger against people and animals has completely gotten out of control! Mr. Trump IS inciting this horrific behavior by his comments to his followers (and I say followers instead of supporters because it appears he has some kind of power over them!) Very frightening!!! People need to be held accountable for their actions! Hitting and fighting should not be tolerated! Yet, Trump staff seems to readily engage! Nothing is done to change it! If the American people were actually smart, they would denounce Mr. Trump’s rhetoric and leave his “pack!”

    • I didn’t hear anything from Donald J Trump in that manner last nite? This has been going on since the muslim terrorist mole got in office!! This was a paid for incitement by moveon.org George Soros, the biggest trouble maker in the world! Get with it please! VOTE TRUMP!!! THIS IS A SHAM!

      • Angelique St.Pierre says:

And Obama was, you know, the racist, fascist-commie-pinko Manchurian Candidate Anti-Christ from Kenya….
Wow….looks like SOMEONE went off their meds! Back away from the computer, put your tin-foil hat back on and go hump Alex Jones’ leg some more…
        F*cking Conspiracy Nutters….

    • ***SOOOOO typical!

***Your idea of people being “actually smart” as you’d put it, requires people to think “like you” and “share your opinions”.

***My math…says that would be “actually stupid”. And that you sound like the typical Dem/Lib cool-aid guzzling lemming.

  3. Nicole Washington says:

When you degrade and insult all groups of people except whites, you have started civil war! Any moron can see what this SOB is doing in Anerica by promising Whites “goodoldays”

    • Angelique St.Pierre says:

Well here’s the good news: after insulting women, latinos, blacks, veterans, the poor, and disabled people…the only ones left to vote for him are the AWGs [Angry White Guys] ….as you can obviously tell by this board. And that’s nowhere near enough to what you need to win an election. He is doing more damage to Reps. than anybody else ever could!

  4. I am voting for Trump an I strongly agree with Donna’ s statement. An yes animal abuse has gotten completely out of control, there should be no animal abuse! An the violence has been by the terrorist/Muslim group let in this country with a welcome package from the “bafoon” in Americans White House!!!! I would like to see our borders closed the illegals out of here.

  5. Daisy Diaz says:

This is nothing more than a Democrat Party campaign to oust the Replican leader. Look at the non-Trump supporters that went to last night’s rally to protest inside the building. If someone doesn’t like a candidate, then don’t vote for him. That is the way of our country, our Constitution. No one has a right to strong-arm an election, which is what that this petition is doing.

    • WTF does this petition have to do with strong-arming the election? Seriously, people are allowed to protest at a rally. THAT is the way of our country, freedom of speech. Trump is free to speak, and then the protesters are free to disagree with him. I notice your last name is Hispanic. You DO realize what this guy has been saying against Latino and Hispanic people, right? Why in the world you would support him is beyond me.

  6. Who do you intend to present this petition to? You need to find the name of the highest person who is able to send out orders to all states and all rallies.
Who is inciting the violence doesn’t matter, it shouldn’t be happening.

However,I have seen about four videos now where Tump is saying
“Get them out, I could punch that person.”
“No coats, don’t let them take their coats, just get them out.”
Telling people to “..rough them up”
I’m sure Trump could incite even the Dali Lama to frustration and anger!

  7. Michael Lynn says:

Rather, how about you and the liberal slanderers stop your false accusations and trying to sow discord, because there have been no violent assaults by the Trump staff as you claim. As for the Trump supporters, they have there right by law to defend themselves when someone physically assaults them. There have been occasions when a fan of Trump have been violent but on their own account, apart from being assaulted physically, but such has nothing to do with Trump or his staff.

  8. Diane Suplick says:

Don’t go and you won’t get beat up. I don’t see Trump supporters going to Hillary rally’s .I think they go to start a fight and I think they get what they deserve .

    • Wow… First off, these rally’s are open to the public. So attending a public event gives permission to resort to violence? Really!? So, I guess you teach your children if they don’t like something someone has to say, they can punch them. Way to go! This is why hate will always be strong.

  9. I m from Greece, and i m with Donald Trump.
The most respected candidate for presidency.

  10. If Trump really loves his country, should resign.
He is a pathetic human being that is destroying the country.

  11. Not signed but I did share. We all need something to laugh about! Stay home if you do not like him. Go listen to your own favorite candidate instead of heckling others. You people are the cause of the trouble. Stop your whining!

  12. “The philosophy of nonviolence which I learned from Dr. Marin Luther King, Jr., during my involvement in the civil rights movement was first responsible for my change in diet…Under the leadership of Dr. King, I became totally committed to nonviolence, and I was convinced that nonviolence meant opposition to killing in any form. I felt the commandment ‘Thou Salt not kill’ applied to human beings not only in their dealings with each other – war, lynching, assassination, murder and the like – but in their practice of killing animals for food or sport. Animals suffer and die alike. Violence causes the same pain…the same arrogant, cruel and brutal taking of life.” – Dick Gregory

  13. Patricia Dumais says:

I am Canadian and we watch the US election spectacle with great concern. Hitler and the Nazis used tactics similar to Trump’s to divide people, incite racial violence, all to get more support — this led to 13 million deaths in WW2.

I am shocked at how Americans are buying into his propaganda.

Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) was a prominent Protestant pastor who emerged as an outspoken public foe of Adolf Hitler and spent the last seven years of Nazi rule in concentration camps.

Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out —
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me.

  14. I am a political atheist but most of what Trump says is rhetorical. You have fallen for it. It’s soundbites and it is working. For example, if elected he will not be deporting 20 million Mexicans.
The protesters if Sanders fans need to direct their energies towards Clinton, because BS will be forgotten if he loses the nomination. What they are doing will have no negative effect on Trump.
I find Clinton is more dangerous than Trump. She lobbies for big business, supports perpetual wars, and will do whatever the banksters tell her, whilst smiling and conning those listening to her.
