Target: Daniel F. Conley, Suffolk County District Attorney
Goal: Seek maximum penalty in trial of dance instructor accused of sexually assaulting underage boy.
A 19-year-old male dance instructor is being held without bail on charges of sexually assaulting one of his students. The male student, age 14, told prosecutors that his dance instructor, Wilson Anthony, sexually abused him numerous times over a period of several months. According to affidavits in the case, the boy was taking private dance lessons at Anthony’s apartment where the sexual assault occurred.
Anthony is currently facing two charges of aggravated rape of a child and indecent assault and battery of a child. Demand prosecutors seek the maximum penalty in this case if Anthony is convicted.
Dear Attorney Conley,
Parents in Massachusetts are grateful to you for taking up the prosecution of a dance teacher accused of assaulting his underage student. Wilson Anthony is currently being held without bail on charges of aggravated rape of a child and indecent assault and battery of a child. These charges are a result of a 14-year-old male student telling prosecutors he was repeatedly sexually assaulted during private dance lessons at Anthony’s apartment.
Cases such as these often result in a plea bargain. We demand plea bargains are not accepted and that prosecutors seek the maximum penalty if Anthony is convicted.
