Target: Corey Lewandowski, Trump Presidential Campaign Manager
Goal: Issue public apology for eviction of innocent students from Trump rally on campus.
News reports indicate that around 30 black students were removed from a Trump rally at Valdosta State University. One of the students removed from the rally alleges that authorities told her “this is Trump’s property” because Trump was holding a rally and his security team had already cleared the site. As a Valdosta student, however, Tahjila Davis maintains that she, and the other students, paid tuition to be on the property and attend any events held there.
Some reports allege that the students were removed by request of the Trump campaign. Campaign officials deny this, however. The students involved further allege that they were removed due to an earlier protest in response to Trump’s refusal to disavow a former KKK leader.
Demand these students receive a public apology and are praised for actively participating in the election process.
Dear Mr. Lewandowksi,
Students at Valdosta State University allege they were removed from a Trump rally on campus in response to having held a protest earlier. The students claim authorities told them they were on “Trump’s property.”
Speaking on behalf of the 30 students removed from the rally, Tahjila Davis states that having paid tuition to be on the property and participate in events held there, including political rallies, the students should not have been removed. They were not causing trouble, nor were they planning to do so.
We demand the Trump campaign publicly apologizes for this seemingly prejudicial act and praise the students for their active participation in the political process.
