Target: Tony Rackauckas, Orange County District Attorney
Goal: Punish police officer accused of racially motivated stabbing to the fullest extent of the law.
An Arabic-speaking teen was allegedly stabbed by an off-duty police officer and his cohorts in what the victim claims was a racially motivated attack. According to the young man, one of the three suspects reportedly yelled “what’s up Obama-bam?” during the altercation. The accused officer, who was visiting from Illinois, reportedly attempted to flee the scene before being apprehended a short time later.
“Is it because we were speaking Arabic or can it be the way we look?” he asked. According to outlets, the accused officer was placed on administrative leave.
It appears this situation stemmed from hatred, violence, and racism. It sounds as if the officer is unstable and completely out of control. An officer’s job is to serve and protect, not to bully, terrorize, and stab people. Demand that if found guilty, the officer be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and barred from working in law enforcement.
Dear District Attorney Rackauckas,
A teenager was allegedly stabbed in what may have been a racist attack carried out by a police officer and two of his family members. After the attack, they reportedly fled before being captured.
To stab a child shows the horrific level of violence this alleged racist officer could be capable of. We urge you to help see to it that he’s prosecuted to the fullest extent.
