Demand Whaling Company Stop Hunting for Good

Fin Whales Janice Waite

Target: Gudmundur Steinbach, Managing Director of Hvalur

Goal: Praise company for calling off this year’s whale hunt and demand that they continue this practice.

Iceland’s largest whaling company, Hvalur, has decided to call off this year’s hunt. This will spare the lives of 150 fin whales. The reason for calling off the hunt is because of Japan’s food safety protocols. If the safety protocols are lowered, then Hvalur will begin their hunt again.

Fin whales are endangered mammals, and there is no need to kill these whales for food. Hvalur has called off whale hunts in previous years. It is time whale hunting be put to an end. Sign this petition and demand that Hvalur stop hunting these endangered animals.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Mr. Steinbach,

Hvalur has decided to call off this year’s whale hunt. First off, I would like to thank you for this. Now, 150 fin whales’ lives will be spared. Your company has called off whale hunts in previous years and spared lives. It is time to call off whale hunts indefinitely.

Fin whales are endangered mammals, and there is no reason for them to be killed for food. It is time these animals are protected rather than hunted down mercilessly.

Please consider sparing the lives of countless whales and ending your whale hunting practices for good.

Sincerely,

[Your Name Here]
