Target: Suellen Ferguson, Glenarden, Maryland Town Attorney
Goal: Strive for a maximum sentence for teacher’s aid who allegedly filmed and sexually abused elementary school students.
Elementary school volunteer teacher, 22-year-old Deonte Carraway, was charged with recording child pornography on school grounds and instructing the children to perform sexual acts on each other. Police reportedly found around 40 videos of 11 victims between ages 9-13 with Carraway’s voice in the background instructing them to perform atrocious sexual acts on themselves and each other. The lawsuit states there could be up to 30 victims. Police say at least seven victims were directly abused. One video shows him molesting a child, according to court documents. His charges include one count of sexual abuse of a minor, one count of second-degree sex offense, and 10 counts of child pornography.
After he recorded the videos, Carraway reportedly sent them to the victims. This heinous sexual abuse scheme appears to have been going on for awhile since the man was allegedly able to record up to 40 videos. These are the acts of a very demented predator who will most likely continue to abuse innocent children if he isn’t stopped.
It’s a tragedy what these innocent children have allegedly faced and will continue to face as victims. The law owes it to them to ensure this monster is brought to justice if guilty, and that no other child is subjected to his sexual abuse again. Demand he be sentenced to the maximum extent and barred from every having contact with children, if found guilty of these horrendous crimes.
Dear Town Attorney Suellen Ferguson,
A volunteer elementary school teacher was arrested after reportedly forcing up to 30 different students to be a part of his child pornography recording and molesting at least seven of 11 identified victims. The man has reportedly admitted to recording the children perform sexual acts alone and with each other in various locations on school grounds, including the bathrooms.
These poor victims deserve the highest justice the law can give them, although nothing will ever compensate for their trauma. If guilty of the charges, this man is a highly dangerous predator and we demand he be sentenced to the maximum extent and barred from having any contact with children.
