Stop Contributing to Animal Torture By Using Angora Fur

Target: Andrew Lutfy, CEO of Dynamite

Goal: End the use of angora fur by the clothing retailer Dynamite.

The clothing retailer Dynamite is still using angora fur for some of its products in its stores all around the world. They have global influence and unfortunately, are contributing to the torture of innocent animals.

Every three months, angora rabbits have their fur ripped or sheared off of them. The process is painful and scary either way it is done. Rabbits have been known to scream as the fur is ripped out of their skin. When rabbits are sheared, they are tethered down by their limbs and injury is unavoidable as sharp tools are pressed against their wiggling bodies. After the ordeal, many rabbits go into shock and will not move for hours.

The process of obtaining angora fur is barbaric and it is time it is put to an end. Many other major retailers have ended their use of angora fur. Sign this petition and demand Dynamite end the use of angora fur as well.

Dear Mr. Lutfy,

Your company, Dynamite, has stores all over the world and global influence. Therefore, it was very unfortunate to hear that your company still uses angora fur on some products.

The process of obtaining angora fur is barbaric. Every three months, angora rabbits are held down and have their fur either sheared off or ripped from their skin. Injury is unavoidable when their fur is taken from them. Many rabbits will scream out in pain while the process is going on and many will go into shock after. There is no reason these rabbits should go through this ordeal just for an article of clothing.

Nowadays, there are many cruelty-free alternatives to angora fur and many major retailers have pledged to not use angora fur anymore. Please consider doing the same and not forcing these animals to go through any more pain.
