Target: Phil Camus, Harris County Constable, Precinct 5
Goal: Find and punish person who abandoned two severely burned puppies.
Two puppies were recently found with disturbing signs of trauma and torture after being abandoned at a storefront. The tan pit bull cross puppies were found with skin lacerations and large patches of hair missing, the suspected result of chemical burns. The cruelty was so severe that one dog succumbed to its injuries and died. The surviving puppy, Noel Justice, was left blinded and scarred by the brutal attack.
The Houston Humane Society and the Harris County Constable’s Office are currently conducting an investigation, but have made little progress. The organizations recently turned to the public for help in identifying a middle-aged man allegedly caught on camera leaving a box of puppies in front of Pet Paradise Resort in South Houston. Both Crime Stoppers and the Houston Humane Society have offered rewards to anyone who comes forward with information leading to the conviction of the person responsible.
Noel Justice is currently being cared for by Pet Paradise Resort where she was initially abandoned. Staff at the facility say that the dog shows no signs of fear toward people, but is afraid of baths. For the rest of her life, she will live with the physical and psychological trauma inflicted upon her.
This crime has disturbed much of the community with its vicious nature. In order to prevent the person responsible from harming another animal or even possibly escalating the cruelty to violence against humans, it is imperative that he is apprehended and punished harshly. Sign the petition below to demand that officers double their efforts to find and convict the perpetrator.

This crime displays a disconcerting level of cruelty, and it is imperative that the person responsible is apprehended before they can do more damage to animals, or even worse, a person. We, the undersigned, ask that you ramp up efforts to catch this offender, and punish them to the fullest extent of the law.
