Target: Kenneth Feld, CEO of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus
Goal: Remove all animals from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and place them to sanctuaries.
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is well known for their various animal acts. In 2014, the circus announced that they would be ending all elephant acts and people rejoiced. However, the other animals Ringling Bros. holds seem to have been forgotten.
Ringling Bros. continues to exploit tigers, horses, camels and other animals for profit. These animals are forced to perform ridiculous and unnatural acts in front of large jeering crowds. On top of that, the animals are subjected to stressful training and cramped travel.
Sign this petition and demand Ringling Bros. Circus retire all their animals and move them to an accredited sanctuary.
Dear Mr. Feld,
In 2014, you announced that you would be retiring all of you elephants and it was very excited news. As you know, elephants are extremely social and intelligent animals. They deserve a peaceful life and not one on the road. This is the same for the other animals Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey uses for performances.
Tigers, horses and camels are all intelligent animals who should not be subjected to the stressful training and cramped travel Ringling Bros. enforces. Also, the acts these animals are forced to do in front of large, jeering crowds are ridiculous, unnatural and harmful to the animals.
Please consider retiring all your animals to an accredited sanctuary. You have realized that elephants deserve a better life; what makes the other animals any different?
