Tell Guess To Stop Using Angora Fur

Target: Paul Marciano, Guess Clothing CEO

Goal: End the use of products that require the cruel torturing of terrified rabbits.

A major clothing retailer still uses angora fur despite knowing the cruelty that happens behind the scenes. The company, Guess, sells products all over the world.

Angora fur is taken from rabbits through a few different methods. One way is by ripping the fur right out of the rabbit’s body. Another way is to have the fur sheared or cut. This may sound harmless, but the procedure is terrifying for the rabbit. They have all four legs bound and injuries from the cutting tools become unavoidable. After going through this horrifying ordeal, many rabbits are left in shock and remain motionless for extended periods of time.

Many retailers have decided to ditch the use of angora fur, including Zara, H&M, Gap Inc., French Connection and Express. Sign this petition and demand Guess follow their lead.

Dear Mr. Marciano,

Your company, Guess, is known worldwide. Guess has a lot of influence in the fashion industry and that is why it upset me to hear that you still use angora fur on some of your products.

In order to obtain this fur, rabbits are forced to go through terrifying ordeals. The fur is either ripped from their bodies or sheared off while the rabbit is bound. This is a horrifying experience for the rabbits. After having their fur taken from them, many rabbits go into shock and remain motionless for extended periods of time. In addition to all of this, the rabbits living conditions are typically barren, dirty cages.

Over 110 retailers are now angora-free, including Zara, H&M, Gap Inc., French Connection and Express. Nowadays, there are many other cruelty-free materials available to use. Please consider using these products instead and to stop forcing rabbits to go through hell for their fur.

  2. Good to know! Another brand I won’t touch with a ten-foot pole. I certainly won’t die without your clothing line…unlike the poor bunnies you consciously exploit to MAKE your bloody products.

  3. All this suffering for some bloody ugly clothing,
and the consumers of these products are just as bad! For they (unawarely) support this kind of crealty.
If only humanity wasn’t so ignorant and naively foolish.
