Increase Security to Find Neighborhood Cat Killer

Target: Nee Soon GRC Member of Parliament, Louis Ng Kok Kwang

Goal: Increase security in Yishun to catch the person or people allegedly killing and abusing cats.

A cat was reportedly drowned and found dead in Yishun Pond, possibly the 19th case of cat abuse in the neighborhood since September. Out of the 19 cases, only two cats reportedly survived. Many of the cats suffered from horrific injuries. The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority say they’re investigating all leads, but despite allegedly viewing over 143 hours of CCTV footage, they’ve still not found “direct, verifiable evidence” of a suspect.

Nineteen different cat abuse cases is an alarming number in just a single neighborhood and that’s only the number of cases that have been reported. Someone is committing these heinous acts of cat murder and getting away with it while more cats are tortured. A person capable of this sick cruelty is a danger to both humans and animals, so he or she must be caught and apprehended immediately before more cats suffer. Sign this petition to demand that security measures in the neighborhood be increased and the cold-hearted abusers/killers caught and apprehended to the maximum extent.

Dear Mr. Louis Ng Kok Kwang,

A cat was found dead in Yishun Pond, having reportedly been drowned. This makes 19 reported cases of cat abuse in the neighborhood since September. Clearly, there’s someone out there who has no regard for other life and it seems they’re seeking opportunities to commit these heinous acts of violence against innocent animals.

These people are a danger to society as a whole and must be removed from the public and put behind bars before more innocent lives are taken. We urge you to protect the neighborhood and its innocent animals. Please increase security in the area to catch the killer(s) and ensure they’re sentenced to the most severe penalty possible.
