Investigate James Deen Rape Accusations

Target: The Los Angeles Police Department

Goal: Investigate accusations of rape made against adult film actor James Deen.

In the past few weeks, multiple adult film actresses have accused star James Deen of sexual and/or physical assault. His one-time girlfriend and fellow actress Stoya tweeted that he sexually assaulted her when they were together. Since Stoya tweeted, nine other women have come forward with accusations against Deen, and have told stories about on-set abuse towards other actresses as well.

Accusations against him range from going off-script during a shoot and engaging actresses in sexual acts that they had not consented to, to slapping actresses who did not consent to certain acts, to drugging and raping actresses. Other actresses have come forward and expressed that they have been told not to shoot scenes with Deen, and that he is known among the community for these alleged assaults.

Deen has denied any wrongdoing on Twitter, where he has gained a large following. Despite his line of work, Deen has become famous for posing himself as a type of “male feminist” on-set, going against the standard male pornography actor in both looks and demeanor. However, his Twitter does include a history of off-putting rape jokes, and the allegations against him get quite horrific.

Since Stoya came forward with her initial allegations, Deen has been dropped from a major pornography website and has lost a weekly column on another. Due to the nature of the industry, however, no charges have been brought up against him. Some people believe that adult film actresses cannot be sexually abused, and that sentiment has blocked Deen from facing any real consequence for his alleged actions.

Dear Los Angeles Police Department,

Adult film actor James Deen must be investigated for sexual and physical assault. Ten women have come forward with various and often brutal accounts of attacks against them from Deen, and have mentioned more accounts against women who have not come forward. Deen seems to think that because of his line of work, he is above consequence. You need to look into these violent assault allegations.

Accusations against Deen include slapping an actress so hard her jaw locked, and raping a woman with a beer bottle, among many other violent acts. He has allegedly assaulted his female co-stars and former girlfriends, who have been hesitant to come forward due to their line of work. Deen has lost a sponsorship and a weekly column, but because of his occupation, he has so far gone without any criminal justice.

I am urging you to look into these claims brought against him by his fellow co-actors and co-actresses. The allegations he is accused of are violent and have been damaging for the actresses that have to continue working with him. Deen is not above the law because of his occupation.
