Target: United States Attorney for District of South Carolina Bill Nettles
Goal: Ensure maximum penalty for woman who allegedly left 90 dead animals and an unconscious 2-year-old in horrible living conditions.
Ninety dead animals and some live ones kept in bins and cages, plus one unconscious 2-year-old were reportedly found in a home that police described as being in horrible condition with the feces and dead bodies everywhere. Two dogs were chained up behind the home with no water or food.
South Carolina — where this horrific incident occurred — has been in the media for its severe lack of enforcing proper animal abuse laws. That’s why it’s imperative that we urge the district attorney to help bring the innocent child and animals the justice they deserve by ensuring the woman receives the maximum penalty possible.
Dear Mr. Nettles,
A woman was arrested when police found 90 dead animals, an unconscious 2-year-old, and other neglected, dying animals left in a home without food and water. They describe the conditions as being horrible. The child is said to be in critical condition, but some of his injuries included bleeding of the brain, and bruising on his neck, back, and head. It’s believed that he suffered the abuse at the hands of his own mother.
This severe display of alleged neglect and abuse is absolutely sick. We urge you to help make sure these poor, innocent lives can be protected from future trauma and abuse by helping make sure this sick woman receives the maximum penalty if guilty.
