Target: Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane
Goal: Charge under the full extent of the law the man who allegedly broke into a home and raped a 6-year-old girl.
A 28-year-old man has been accused of breaking into a home in Hatfield Township, Pennsylvania, and raping a 6-year-old girl in her bedroom. Oscar Rivera Herrera allegedly broke into the home through a living room window, woke up the 6-year-old girl, threatened to harm her and her family and told the girl to shut up.
The girl’s 11-year-old brother was sleeping on the bunk below her and heard his sister begging Herrera to “stop” and asking “why are you doing this?” The boy then sprinted to his parents’ room, called police and told them a man broke into his family’s apartment.
Herrera allegedly admitted to breaking into the same apartment home months earlier when no one was home.
If these allegations are true, this man is a sick individual who must be punished severely for his crimes. Urge officials to charge him under the full extent of the law.
Dear Attorney General Kane,
Oscar Rivera Herrera allegedly broke into a home through a living room window, threatened a 6-year-old girl and her family and raped her. Luckily the girl’s brother was able to alert his parents and police so the man was caught. This alleged crime is incredibly disturbing, and a clear message must be sent that this is entirely unacceptable and will be punished severely.
If the allegations are true, this little girl and her family deserve justice. I urge you to charge this man under the full extent of the law if these allegations are true.
