Target: Cobb County, Georgia District Attorney Vic Reynolds
Goal: Help ensure maximum penalty for gymnastics coach charged with sexually assaulting special needs children.
A Special Olympics gymnastics coach has reportedly been charged with sexually abusing two special needs students during a sports trip where they were under the coach’s care overnight. Police said that while on the trip, both victims had mentioned the issue during phone conversations with their parents and then independently told their parents after arriving home. One of the victims’ mothers said her daughter was completely distraught when she arrived back from the trip and met her mother at the airport.
The demented coach has been charged with three counts of sexual battery against a minor and one count of aggravated sexual battery. This woman has been working with children as a coach for over 20 years, so there’s no telling how many she has actually abused that may not have come forward. These poor children were left with their coach, who they should’ve been able to trust, and she betrayed them and destroyed their innocence. Please urge the district attorney to help protect other children from this monster of a coach by pushing for her to receive the maximum penalty possible for the sick crimes.
Dear Cobb County, Georgia District Attorney Vic Reynolds,
A gymnastics coach who’s been working with special needs children for over 20 years was charged with sexually abusing two of them while on a trip. The sick coach took the girls to a hotel where they stayed during the trip and when they arrived home, they each individually told their parents of the sexual abuse.
It’s possible this woman has sexually abused other children who she’s coached in the past, and it’s clear she’s a danger to the safety of children. We urge you to protect the children and bring the victims justice by pushing for the most severe penalty possible.
