Target: North Charleston Chief Prosecutor Mark J. Bourdon
Goal: Help ensure the knife-wielding teenager accused of attempting to rape a woman in her home receives the maximum punishment.
A 16-year-old allegedly broke into a woman’s house where he then threatened to murder her as he tried raping her. When she fought back, he told her she had to die. Thankfully, the woman saved her own life by taking the opportunity to bite her attacker’s tongue off when he crammed it into her mouth. She says that caused the attacker to take off running.
This monstrous behavior is sickening. This young man knows better and is clearly a severe threat to society since he reportedly went to such great lengths to harm and sexually assault a woman in her own home.
Please urge the chef prosecutor to do everything possible to help see to it that the alleged rapist receives the most severe penalty allowable by law.
Dear North Charleston Chief Prosecutor Mark J. Bourdon,
A 16-year-old armed with a knife allegedly forced his way into a woman’s home and then proceeded to rape her. When she fought back, he reportedly said he had to kill her, but she managed to stay alive by biting his tongue off when he crammed it into her mouth. He fled the home afterward. This deplorable act of sexual violence was alarmingly brazen for a teenager.
This demented monster is undoubtedly a threat to society. We urge you to remove him from the streets and help keep the public — including his alleged victim — safe by helping see to it that he receives the most severe penalty possible.
