Justice for Teens Allegedly Beat in Church, Leaving One Dead

Target: New Hartford, New York Police Chief Michael Inserra

Goal: Ensure a thorough investigation to find who’s responsible for the brutal beating of two teenagers that resulted in one’s death.

Two teenage boys were allegedly beaten at their church — which is also the home of some of the members — in some sick attempt at forcing them to confess of their sins. According to the mother, it originally started as an “intervention” for the teenage boys at their place of worship, but resulted in members of the church violently beating her two teens. The 19-year-old was killed and his younger brother — a 17-year-old —  has been hospitalized for his serious injuries.

The boys were punched and kicked for hours, according to police, who say the violence occurred during a spiritual session where the church tried forcing the two boys to confess their sins and ask forgiveness. The father has a different story for what happened that tragic day — his lawyer claims that the incident occurred during a family meeting and had nothing to do with the church. The parents, as well as the older sister of the victims, were arrested along with four other people.

One young man’s life was tragically stolen and his little brother sustained severe injuries. The surviving brother will likely suffer great amounts of grief and  trauma as a result of this. The bizarre incident must be looked into before more people suffer at the hands of this so-called place of worship. Please urge the police chief to prevent a tragedy similar to this from ever occurring again by ensuring a thorough investigation into the people of the church to find out the truth and help bring the boys justice.

Dear New Hartford, New York Police Chief Michael Inserra,

Two teenagers were allegedly beaten for hours at their church while being made to confess their sins. The oldest died and the younger sibling sustained severe injuries.

The parents have different stories for what happened. If something isn’t done, more people could lose their lives at the hands of this bizarre, violent church. We urge you to utilize all resources available to reveal the truth by ensuring a thorough investigation is conducted.
