Don’t Publicly Flog Elderly, Cancer-Stricken Man for Having Alcohol

Target: Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz

Goal: Cancel public lashings of elderly, cancer-stricken man immediately.

A 74-year-old cancer-stricken man from the UK was arrested in Saudi Arabia for having homemade alcohol in his vehicle. The elderly man has already been sitting in a prison with a reputation for torture and overcrowding. In the meantime, Saudi Arabian officials are contemplating the gruesome public flogging they have planned for him. He’s scheduled to receive 350 lashes.

The only crime this elderly man committed was having homemade alcohol and yet these people think it’s a big enough offense that he should be publicly humiliated, tormented, and most likely murdered because his three children say he’s so weak from fighting cancer that he may not survive the sick punishment.

Unfortunately, his three children have pleaded with the Saudi government and Foreign Office with no success. Lets stand with the man’s children and tell the Saudi government that this man has suffered enough — with the torture he’s endured in prison and the long, painful battle with his third round of cancer while his wife’s at home dying — flogging him is unacceptable and must be called off immediately.

PETITION LETTER:

Dear Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz,

An elderly man from the UK has been sitting in an overcrowded prison as he battles cancer for the third time awaiting his next gruesome punishment — public flogging. Meanwhile, his wife is at home dying. The only crime this poor man allegedly committed was having homemade alcohol in his vehicle.

This elderly man has suffered enough for this petty crime. The 350 public lashings, his children fear, may kill him. We demand that you stop the torment of this poor man immediately by cancelling the sick, inhumane lashings he’s been sentenced to.

Sincerely,

  1. YOU PEOPLE IN THESE BARBARIC ARABIAN COUNTRIES ARE EVIL DISGUSTING PEOPLE, ALCOHOL IS NOT A CRIME, HE IS FROM THE UK, IF HE WANTS ALCOHOL AND HE IS NOT FROM YOUR EVIL COUNTRY HE HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING WRONG, HE HAS NOT BROKEN THE LAW, MOVE INTO THE 21st CENTURY AND LET THIS MAN GO, HE IS SUFFERING FROM CANCER HE IS NOT A CRIMINAL, LET HIM GO NOW.

      He does not have cancer,I’m from the UK and know the facts,he has had cancer in the past but does not have it now.

  2. Well now everyone in the civilized world on this planet knows how debauched and hypocritical the Saudi’s are, the famous sadistic/homosexual Prince Saud Bin Abulaziz committed an atrocious unprovoked crime of murdering his slave in the U.K. and after a couple of years into his sentence he gets to go home to the folks in Saudi Arabia supposedly to serve out the rest of his sentence, what a joke! Yet this poor old terminally ill man from the U.K whose wife is dying at home has to be flogged to the death for having home made grog in his car.

  3. Perhaps that is the only way this man can live with his pain!

  4. Stan Benton says:

    This is as sick as it gets. And of course the U.S. chooses the most evil possible countries as its allies, like Israel and Saudi Arabia. (Of course even they can’t quite match us in genocide, indefinite detention, torture, GITMO, murder by drone, illegal SOCOM ops, etc.)

  5. Patricia Dumais says:

    The UK government should intervene in this.

  6. Where’s your rationality? === Where’s your compassion? — Where’s your sanity? —- Where’s your morality?
