Target: Florida Governor Rick Scott
Goal: Admit to fraudulently printing a press release that left out a vital line stating that there is no evidence of the mishandling of fetal remains at Planned Parenthood clinics in Florida.
A press release regarding whether or not Planned Parenthood clinics around Florida mishandled fetal remains was published by Rick Scott’s office and left out a vital line stating that there was no evidence of any mishandling.
Florida’s state health communications director Katherine Riviere questioned the move to scrub the press release and has now resigned, supposedly to follow her husband in a career move, but some are questioning if this is the truth.
The release put out by Scott’s office also said the AHCA would refer physicians who worked at the Planned Parenthood clinics to the Board of Medicine for possible disciplinary action. So the governor not only failed to include facts that are vital to showing Planned Parenthood committed no wrongdoing, but they are also planning on making clinics workers face disciplinary action even though they were found to not be doing anything wrong.
The government should not be able to operate on flat out lies and keep the truth from the public. Tell Florida Governor Rick Scott to admit to putting out a fraudulent press release that keeps the truth from Florida citizens.
Dear Governor Rick Scott,
You lied to Florida citizens by altering a press release that originally stated there is no evidence of the mishandling of fetal remains at Planned Parenthood clinics in Florida. A communications director who questioned this move to lie to the people has now resigned, and I would seriously hope its not thanks to pressure from your manipulative office.
Not only did you alter the release to lie, but you claim you will be reporting Planned Parenthood physicians to the Board of Medicine for possible disciplinary action despite the fact they were found to have no wrongdoing on their hands.
You cannot lead a state by hiding the truth from people and using manipulation to forward your incorrect agenda. Facts are facts. I demand you admit to putting out a fraudulent press release that keeps the truth from Florida citizens.
