Praise Jon Stewart for Creating Animal Sanctuary

Target: Jon & Tracey Stewart

Goal: Thank the animal loving couple for their planned animal sanctuary.

As Jon Stewart retires from hosting the Daily Show, he is focusing his attention on rescuing farm animals. He and his wife, Tracey Stewart, are turning their New Jersey farm into an animal sanctuary. Their animal sanctuary will provide a home for farm animals rescued from cruelty. Stewart’s status as a respected celebrity is a positive influence for animal rights activism and can make a large impact in the lives of farm animals.

The Stewarts are well-known animal lovers. They are parents not only to their two children, but also to dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, pigs, fish and a parrot. Tracey recently wrote a book, Do Unto Animals, about how society can make the lives of animals better. She also advocated for living a vegan lifestyle in her magazine Moomah. Jon has criticized gestation pig crates on the Daily Show and publicly praised Farm Sanctuary co-founder and president Gene Baur.

Let the Stewarts know that the animal rights community appreciates their continuous support for the humane treatment of animals by thanking them for turning their farm into an animal sanctuary.

Dear Jon and Tracey Stewart,

The animal rights community recognizes your continuous support of animal advocacy. I would like to thank you for your recent pledge to turn your farm into an animal sanctuary. You use your influence and resources altruistically, to better the lives of animals.

As sad as fans of the Daily Show may be about Jon retiring, losing a powerful voice of reason in today’s absurd media frenzy, it’s refreshing to know where he is focusing his efforts. Tracey’s recent book is a testament to her dedication to animals of all kinds and the belief that they deserve a place on this planet just as much as humans.

You are a dedicated couple for animal rights, with a true love for all species. Your plugs for Farm Sanctuary will help the advocacy organization grow, prospering the lives of farm animals in the process.

Thank you, Jon and Tracey, for your advocacy for fair treatment of all animals. Your farm sanctuary will be a beautiful home for animals who have been stripped of love and I greatly appreciate you giving them a better life.
