Target: Brooklyn, New York District Attorney Ken Thompson
Goal: Ensure maximum punishment for masked man who allegedly raped a woman while claiming to have a gun.
A 19-year-old woman was allegedly snatched up off the streets and taken behind a building where she was raped by a masked man who claimed to have a gun. With little more than surveillance images and a description of the alleged rapist who fled the scene, police have not found him.
The streets, of all places, should be safe enough for women to walk without having to fear this kind of tragedy. Something is terribly wrong when rapists feel comfortable snatching someone and raping them right behind a public building. These monsters must be stopped. Please urge the Brooklyn District Attorney to help protect women on the streets by helping to ensure the rapist receives the most severe penalty possible, when found.
Dear Brooklyn, New York District Attorney Ken Thompson,
A 19-year-old woman was allegedly snatched from the streets and forced behind a building where she was raped at gunpoint. The rapist fled the scene and is still at large, free to attack again if he isn’t caught soon.
Women should not have to fear for their safety while walking down streets in public places, but the rampant rape problem has made it that way. We urge you to help restore some safety to the streets by ensuring that when this rapist is captured, he receives the maximum punishment allowable by law.
