Target: Logan County Prosecuting Attorney William Goslee
Goal: Help ensure woman who allegedly admitted to killing her three children is never allowed around any children again.
A 23-year-old was arrested after her newborn was reportedly smothered to death. Less than a week prior to his death, the baby and her other child had just been returned back to her custody. Two of her other children have also died–one was three-months-old like the recent baby, and her four-year-old died last summer. She has reportedly admitted to killing them.
It appears authorities allowed the first suspicious deaths to be swept under the rug and ultimately, it resulted in the death of another child.
Police say the mother admitted she murdered her three children out of jealousy that her husband favored the boys over her and their daughter. She was already let go after the first two deaths when authorities should’ve kept her from having custody.
Had authorities paid enough attention, perhaps this baby would still be alive and the mother been given the help she needs. Please urge the prosecuting attorney to take action in protecting the remaining child by helping ensure the alleged murderer is never around another child again.
Dear Attorney Goslee,
A woman reportedly admitted to smothering her 3-month-old to death along with two previous children whose deaths were suspicious. She was reportedly granted custody of her children even after the first two died, and as a result, another one is dead.
There’s no reason why this demented mother should have been granted custody after two died suspiciously. It’s clear that if she isn’t stopped right away, she’ll to continue killing her children or others. Please don’t let the system fail the only surviving child, and help ensure she’s never allowed in the presence of another child again.
