Punish Cop for Allegedly Beating Man into a Coma

NYPD by Debra

Target: Cyrus R. Vance Jr., Manhattan District Attorney

Goal: Push for a guilty verdict for cop who reportedly beat man and caused him to go into a coma.

An NYPD cop was allegedly caught on camera sucker punching a man and knocking him into a coma for weeks. The victim reportedly suffers long-lasting neurological damage that, according to reports, he may never completely recover from. The video shows the cop and another man beating the victim to the ground, where he reportedly lost consciousness. According to reports, the assault involved the cop and a friend.

This officer reportedly used excessive force, meaning his violent behavior is more than just self-defense. The cop obviously had no qualms with sucker punching a man or physically attacking him in an unfair, two-against-one fight.

If this officer isn’t punished appropriately for the alleged crime, it’ll send the message that officers are above the law. The cop failed to uphold his oath to serve and protect.

Please urge the District Attorney to ensure this violent cop receives the punishment he deserves.

Dear Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr.,

A police officer and his friend were in a bar when they allegedly attacked a man. The assault was captured on surveillance, which allegedly shows the off-duty officer sucker punch the man and then continue to beat him as he’s on the ground and unconscious. They reportedly chose to start a brand new altercation with the same victim the next morning.

The victim was reportedly left in a coma for weeks and suffers long-lasting neurological damage because of this cop’s violent behavior. The officer failed his duties and responsibilities.

There is no place in law enforcement for violent behavior where cops beat people unmercifully for no justifiable reason. This heartless officer deserves severe punishment.

We urge you to ensure the officer receives the punishment he deserves by finding him guilty at his upcoming trial.
