Target: Bedford, Virginia Chief Judge, John T. Cook
Goal: Sentence reported sex offender who allegedly abducted two sisters to life in prison.
A sex offender — who’s currently in prison — has reportedly been charged with first-degree murder after authorities linked him to the 1975 case where two sisters disappeared from a mall. The girls were only 10 and 12 at the time of their disappearance and their remains have yet to be found.
The man has reportedly been charged with abduction, murder with the intent to defile, and faces two counts of murder. He could be sentenced to anywhere between 20 years to life in prison, or death, according to attorney Randy Krantz.
Officers reportedly found that he was at the mall and paying close attention to the girls the day they disappeared. They also reportedly believe that evidence within a search warrant affidavit — where a relative claims that the suspect asked him to wash bloody clothes for him, saying it was from raw hamburger — could link him to the deaths of the sisters.
According to The Post, police affidavits state that the man claimed his uncle took the sisters from the mall and that he witnessed him sexually assaulting one of them the next day.
Officials released statements saying the investigation is active, but details regarding evidence wouldn’t be elaborated any further at the time.
If he’s found guilty in the case of the girls’ disappearance and presumed murder, then his sentence should be upgraded to life in prison. Considering his convicted sex offender status and the charge “with intent to defile” against him, it’s sadly clear that this man sexually abused the poor innocent children . A predator like this shouldn’t ever be released back into society to harm more innocent children.
Please urge the judge to ensure that this sex offender gets life in prison if he’s found guilty of abducting, harming, or killing the sisters.
Dear Chief Judge John T. Cook,
A convicted sex offender has reportedly been charged in the murder and abduction of two sisters. The two children went missing in 1975 from a mall and authorities believe he’s the perpetrator. A sex offender, child abductor, and possible murderer shouldn’t ever be released back into society to cause more tragedy.
We urge you to consider the consequences of this possible murderer one day being free to roam our streets and to ensure he’s given life in prison if found guilty in the murder/abduction of the two little girls.
