Target: Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Denise Raabe

Goal: Punish the nudist resort owners who allegedly stole water from a nearby creek to use for their business during one of the worst droughts in California history.

The owners of a nudist resort in Northern California have been accused of illegally diverting water from a nearby creek to use for their property, which has a pool, tennis courts, volleyball and more.

“Diversion of water in the middle of drought is worrisome to everyone and lends an urgency to the case,” Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Denise Raabe said.

California has been experiencing one of the most catastrophic droughts its ever had for the past four years, so bad that the state had to enforce mandatory cutbacks in urban water use.

Officials say that Glyn and Lori Kay Stout, the owners of Lupin Lodge in Los Gatos, repeatedly used more water than is allowed by illegally bringing in water from a creek that the couple did not have the rights to. The Stouts supposedly asked permission to use water from the creek previously but were denied. However, wildlife cameras supposedly show individuals from the lodge carrying plastic tubing to the creek.

This drought is not only effecting human lives, but it is also destroying the environment and the animal lives that inhabit that environment. Tell officials to punish the nudist resort owners who allegedly stole water from a nearby creek to use for their business during one of the worst droughts in California history.

I’d be much more worried about Nestle stealing huge amounts of water to sell as bottled water. So far California seems unable (or unwilling) to take any action against them.
