Dear Dhaka Authorities,

A 13-year-old boy was reportedly tied to a post and beaten to death with a metal rod by a group of men who accused him of theft. The incident was caught on camera and posted online. In the video, the attackers apparently ignore the boy’s plea for mercy and continue beating him while laughing.

This violence must not go unpunished. We the undersigned urge you to imprison the attackers for life if they are found guilty in order to deter others from committing this kind of violent crime in the future.
