Target: Brandon Zanotti, Williamson County Illinois State’s Attorney

Goal: Punish the woman who allegedly kept animals in abhorrent conditions, practicing veterinary medicine without a license and is responsible for the deaths of numerous animals under her care.

Elisa Kirkpatrick of Creal Springs, Ill., is charged with practicing veterinary medicine without a license, animal cruelty, and aggravated animal cruelty after 67 animals were removed from her home recently. The animals included more than 40 dogs, 15 cats, two pigs, a donkey, a cockatoo, a bobcat and a serval, an African wild cat. Luckily, the animals have been placed in local shelters or put under the care of local rescue groups.

When police investigated her home, it was full with cages of cats, dog and other animals. Police said the floor was covered in an inches-deep layer of feces and the home had no power for the past two weeks. It’s also reported that, in addition to keeping these innocent animals in sickening conditions, Kirkpatrick allegedly performed surgery on an animal in this disgusting condition, causing the animal to die.

In addition to this incident, she is accused of practicing veterinary medicine even though her license to practice has been suspended for some time. So it’s a mystery how many other animals she could have been performing illegal and unsafe surgery on, although officials found several freezers filled with dead animals as well as bags filled with dead animals.

These animals should not have been forced to live under these horrifying conditions and die. Urge the Williamson County Illinois State’s Attorney to punish this woman to the full extent of the law.
