Target: Prime Minister of Syria Wael Nader al-Halqi
Goal: Put an end to ISIS killing innocent children for allegedly not observing Ramadan.
Recently, two young boys were found dead with signs around their necks in Syria, indicating that they were killed because they ate food during the day during the holy month of Ramadan. ISIS was allegedly behind this heinous crime, and they must be stopped from harming any more children in the future.
This incident is apparently not the first time that ISIS killed young children for not observing Ramadan by their standards. Many children were previously murdered in similar ways. The two boys were reportedly found hanging from their wrists and were left on display near the Islamic State police headquarters to send a message to the public.
Islamic State is severely harsh when citizens break any Shari’a law. However, according to the Muslim Council of Britain, the requirements of abstinence during Ramadan do not apply to children, as well as other groups of people such as the elderly. Even if these deceased kids were not young, the consequence of brutal murder is inconceivable.
By signing the petition below, you are urging the prime minister of Syria to take a strong stance in opposing the murders that ISIS commits towards innocent citizens in Syria, such as the young boys who were recently killed. Such heinous murders should not happen without consequences for the murderers. Making a strong effort to put an end to these senseless murders will help save innocent lives from perishing at the hands of Isis in the future.
Dear Prime Minister Wael Nader al-Halqi,
I am writing to you after hearing about the shocking murders of the young boys in Syria who were murdered by ISIS for apparently not observing Ramadan correctly by their standards. These two boys would not have been in trouble by the official rules of Ramadan due to their young age, and the consequence of brutal murder that ISIS committed is simply inexcusable. These poor boys and their families deserve justice for their young lives lost at such an early age at the hands of ISIS.
Please make a strong effort to prevent ISIS from harming any more individuals in Syria due to their standards of Islam. These senseless murders should not go unpunished. The citizens of Syria deserve to have protection from these kinds of atrocities.
