Target: Pasado’s Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary board chair, Kim Wilkes
Goal: Applaud animal sanctuary for its noble mission statement and actions to save animals.
An amazing group of people who are working tirelessly to save the lives of as many animals as possible exists in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Washington. This group of people makes up Pasado’s Safe Haven, named after an amazing donkey. This organization has made waves in its community and beyond, homing numerous animals, educating people and changing the lives of every living thing which crosses their path.
Pasado’s Safe Haven’s mission is to “end animal cruelty through comprehensive programs and inspired action.” The people at the non-profit organization live this mantra every day through caring for the 200 plus animals that reside on the 85-acre sanctuary and education the public.
The staff at the sanctuary also perform spay and neuter operations, as well as investigate animal welfare cases around Washington. Like many other sanctuaries, animals here have had very depressing lives prior to finding this safe haven. Pasado’s Safe Haven takes in animals from slaughterhouses, factory farms, and other places of abuse or neglect.
Countless animals’ lives have been changed immensely because of this sanctuary. Running an operation of this caliber, and with this much heart, is immensely difficult and expensive. Applaud the people behind this amazing operation by signing this petition. If you live in Washington, consider volunteering at this wonderful sanctuary to have a direct impact on its future success.
Dear Ms. Wilkes,
Pasado’s Safe Haven fills my heart with love and joy for animals and their potential. You and your crew have made an incredible impact on the lives of so many animals. It is my sincere hope that Pasado’s legacy will live on through this amazing sanctuary for decades to come.
Thank you for working tirelessly for every animal in need which crosses your path. Because of this organization, over 200 animals that were once on death row, or homeless, or abused, now have a safe home, quality food and plenty of love. These animals cannot speak with their words, but I know they thank you every day through their actions. The staff at the farm go above and beyond to provide extra care to animals that need rehabilitation, as well as facilities that are designed for long-term stay comfort.
Pasado’s Safe Haven is such a blessing to the state of Washington. Thank you for all that you do.
