Justice For Teenager Allegedly Beaten and Set on Fire in Guatemala

Target: Police in Guatemala

Goal: Find and prosecute those responsible for allegedly beating a teenage girl and setting her on fire.

A disturbing video has surfaced on the internet of a 16-year-old girl seemingly being beaten and set on fire in Guatemala. Sources say the video can’t be confirmed by anyone, but apparently the mob was angry because of the girl’s alleged involvement in the murder of a taxi driver.

Reports indicate that there is a sort of vigilante justice system in Guatemala because the police force is so weak. The United Nations has reported that Guatemala is one of the most dangerous countries in the world and that nearly every murder case there goes unsolved.

Urge the police in Guatemala to find and prosecute the people responsible for the death of the girl in the video.

Dear Guatemalan Police,

A video has surfaced online of a 16-year-old girl allegedly being beaten and set on fire in Guatemala recently. It is reported that the mob who killed her was angry because she is said to have taken part in the murder of a taxi driver.

We the undersigned urge you to investigate this matter and bring those responsible for her death to justice.
