Goal: Jail killer of officer for life to prevent future deaths.
A police officer in Rio Rancho, New Mexico was shot and killed while on duty recently. Witnesses heard four gunshots and saw the officer laying on the ground.
The police chief, Michael Geier, said that a suspect is believed to have fled the scene in a Dodge pickup truck. However, no suspect has been identified or arrested as of yet.
The officer is the first in the department to have died in the line of duty. Urge the district attorney to put the killer, once found, behind bars for life to dissuade others from killing police.
Dear District Attorney of the 13th Judicial District in New Mexico,
One of your police officers was killed recently after he was shot while on duty. The person who is responsible is still at large.
According to chief Michael Geier, this officer is the first one in the department’s history to be killed in the line of duty. Please help make him the last.
We the undersigned urge you to put the officer’s killer, once found, behind bars for life to dissuade others from hurting police in the future.
