Target: Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood
Demand: Put those responsible for killing police officers behind bars for life.
Two police officers were killed in Mississippi recently after what began as a routine traffic stop. Sources say two officers, Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 24, pulled over a vehicle in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and were shot by the two passengers. They were brought to the hospital but died of their injuries.
One of the passengers then stole their police cruiser and tried to use it as a getaway car. Both passenger, Joanie Calloway and Marvin Banks, have been charge with capital murder. Two others were also charged in the incident, one of them with accessory after the fact of capital murder, the other with obstruction of justice.
Demand those responsible for this crime be given life behind bars.
