Demand: Issue punishment for teams who cheat.

The final report that was issued by the NFL after its investigation into the air pressure used by the New England Patriots in the organization’s footballs reveals that the employees of the team most likely did it on purpose with Tom Brady’s knowledge.

According to the report, several text messages were exchanged between two staff members, one of which was responsible for checking the pressure in the footballs. Texts suggested that autographed goods were exchanged in order for the balls to be deflated to a certain level. The NFL claims that the Patriots’ quarterback, Tom Brady, even knew about the cheating and encouraged it.

Tom Brady is a role model so this is unacceptable and should not be happening.

Dear NFL Officials,

The recent report regarding the so-called “Deflategate” scandal involving the New England Patriots shows that they probably did, in fact, know that the balls were being deflated. This is unacceptable.

The NFL is where fans turn to for fun, honest football entertainment. Fans spend a lot of money on the NFL and deserve better than to have cheating teams. We the undersigned urge you to fine teams who are found to be cheating in the future.
