Praise Country for Banning Bestiality

Target: Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt

Goal: Thank the Prime Minister of Denmark for banning bestiality.

For the last couple of years, Denmark was the only northern European country in which bestiality was still legal. “Bestiality” is defined as a sexual relationship between a human being and an animal. Denmark was becoming recognized as a key place for people who want to practice bestiality, which made it a popular destination for thousands of animal sex tourists. However, as of April 21, 2015, Denmark finally passed legislation banning all forms of bestiality.

The new bill amends a previous ban on intercourse that harms animals. Animal rights activists believe that this ban strengthens a weak law that encouraged animal sex tourists to visit the country. The previous legislation simply did not protect the animals enough to stop the tourists from coming to Denmark. A Danish Farm Minister stated in an opinion piece that it is especially difficult to be able to tell if a human has sexually abused an animal. There are frequent reports of organized animal brothels and clubs in Denmark, but not much had been done about them until now.

Ultimately, Denmark did not want to be the only northern European country not banning bestiality. Other countries like Germany, Norway, Sweden, and Britain already successfully banned it. Please sign this petition to thank the Prime Minister of Denmark for finally passing a bill that makes humans having sexual encounters with animals against the law.

Dear Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt,

At last, Denmark has banned the practice of bestiality. Other northern European countries such as Germany and Sweden have already banned this shocking practice, but Denmark was the last one to do so. This bill was long overdue, but the concerns of the animal rights activists triumphed and the ban was set in place.

The amount of sex tourists coming into Denmark every year is appalling, but thankfully you have put an end to it. Those voting for the bill said Denmark did not want to remain the last northern European country where bestiality was legal. Bestiality should not be legal anywhere, and it is up to the officials of every country to be aware of it and take steps to ban it from happening. Animals do not have a voice when it comes to bestiality, so it’s the humans responsibility to stop it before it starts.

Praise them for what?! For doing in 2015 what they should have done many years ago? Mind you, we ‘re talking here about Denmark not Sodom and Gomorrah.Shame on you Denmark for not banning bestiality in time. You ‘re LATE!

  2. Manel Dias says:

Dear Prime Minister, I can say one thing to you on this issue…For passing the Bill for Banning this shameless “Bestiality” under your government means the world to the innocent animals. Plus I know that YOU will have a Special Place in The HEAVEN above…May the God’s Blessings be with you Always.

  3. So what took so long? About bloody time too is all I can say. You may have done the right thing at long last but this does not excuse the disgusting acts that you allowed previously. Your country should be fined for its behaviour and treated as war criminals as this is part of the cruelty war perpetrated by some disgusting humans on innocent animals.
