Support Rescued Pit Bulls Aiding in Veteran Recovery

Target: Founder of Pits for Patriots, Kelly Yearwood

Goal: Congratulate Pits for Patriots on their tremendous efforts to repair the lives of pit bulls and veterans.

Pits for Patriots is a non-profit organization that trains pit bulls to act as service dogs to veterans in need. Kelly Yearwood, the founder of this amazing foundation, has put forth effort to repair the lives of so many. The rescued pit bulls help to slowly remove the emotional and physical scars so many veterans carry around on a daily basis. Simultaneously the two are able to help one another, acting in perfect harmony. Congratulate Kelly and Pits for Patriots for their continued efforts to aid in the rescue of pit bulls, and the rehabilitation of our veterans.

Too many veterans return to the United States feeling lost, alone, and in some cases, unable to perform daily tasks. Not unlike the veterans, pit bulls often experience the same loneliness. Misguided groups continue their efforts to keep pit bulls from many parts of society, upholding a stigma that has been disproved several times. Pits for Patriots has accomplished an amazing feat, establishing a symbiotic relationship between our brave veterans and the misunderstood pit bulls.

This stigma has haunted pit bulls and their owners for years. Pit bulls are often recognized as violent dogs, unfit for families, and immune to proper training techniques. Despite these setbacks, the organization continues to push forward, helping to eliminate this stigma. Their success thus far cannot be denied, and they have already helped so many. Congratulate Pits for Patriots on their continuous work with rescued pit bulls and our United States veterans.

Dear Ms. Yearwood,

Pits for Patriots’ recent efforts to rescue pit bulls, and aid in the rehabilitation of United States veterans is nothing short of amazing. You have established a great relationship between the two, in which everyone comes out a winner.

Pit bulls have long been behind the controversy of immense negativity, and it is no secret that many of our veterans come home with physical and emotional wounds. This organization gives hope for both, demonstrating the importance of love and companionship. The stigma surrounding pit bulls has and will continue to decrease, in part due to your tremendous effort.

Your work is touching many more than just those involved. The needs of veterans everywhere are being addressed, shedding light on a sensitive subject many are not willing to acknowledge. Likewise, attitudes toward pit bulls are changing, showing dog lovers everywhere what an amazing pet they can make. Thank you for Pits for Patriots, and the tireless effort put forth.
