Target: Karen Judge, founder of Abandoned Pet Rescue
Goal: Thank nonprofit leader for starting a mobile animal clinic to help homeless cats and dogs
Karen Judge has always loved animals. In her Florida home, the original founder of Abandoned Pet Rescue cares for all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, birds, and iguanas. Her life-long appreciation of animals is the inspiration behind her newest goal: To start a mobile animal clinic. Judge’s mobile clinic will provide animals with food, medicine, and sterilization services.
Her team’s ultimate goal is to find an efficient way to help animals, nurse them back to health, and let them go back to their lives. This clinic will also help reduce the problem of overpopulation, which is a constant strain on the limited resources of animal shelters across the country. Judge plans to operate her clinic out of an RV. She and her volunteers will drive to different places where she knows there are big animal colonies and set up her clinic. She is planning to locate the animals in order to fix them and give them any necessary medicine and food before letting them loose again.
Judge is the founder of Abandoned Pet Rescue Incorporated and a nonprofit called Pet Pals Animal Rescue; helping animals has always been second nature to her. Right now her new as-of-yet-unnamed nonprofit has four volunteers, but is hoping to expand. Please sign this petition to thank Karen Judge for aiding animals across Florida.
Dear Karen Judge,
Thank you for your continued dedication to helping neglected animals in need. Your mobil clinic is a unique way to help animals and curb the problem of overpopulation. Cat and dog overpopulation is one of the key reasons so many shelters are forced to euthanize their animals each year. Tragically, many shelters across the country lack the staff, resources, or room to care for so many animals in their facilities.
Spaying and neutering stray cats and dogs gets to the source of the problem of overpopulation and is key to reducing euthanasia. It is clear to see that you have always been a great supporter of animals, and I am heartened by your innovative ideas to improve animal welfare.
