Praise the Formation of Animal Rescue Foster Care System

Target: Carla Hill-Clark and Vanessa Cook

Goal: Thank two women for establishing an animal foster care system and saving the lives of abused animals

BARK Animal Rescue, Incorporated, an animal rescue non-profit in Ohio, was recently formed by two friends, Carla Hill-Clark and Vanessa Cook. BARK focuses on rescuing animals that are in unhealthy living conditions and functions through a network of volunteer foster families. BARK has helped dozens of animals in the Ohio Darke County neighborhood through different services such as adoption and short-term foster care.

According to the Daily Advocate, this animal rescue team works primarily through volunteers and word-of-mouth advertisement. When someone in Darke County sees an animal cruelty situation, they contact Hill-Clark or Cook for help. The BARK team evaluates each animal individually and determines what actions they should take to provide the best care for the animal in need.

The majority of animals they rescue are in dire need of medical attention. Once the animals are healthy and clean, they then go into foster care, which is the basis for their entire organization. After going through examinations and trainings from BARK, the animals come out calm, trained, and fit to be a companion to a loving family. The training helps the animals become familiar with people and teaches them how to be part of a family unit again.

Please sign this petition to thank Carla Hill-Clark and Vanessa Cook and their volunteers for establishing BARK Animal Rescue, Inc. which is saving the lives of so many mistreated animals.

Dear Carla Hill-Clark and Vanessa Cook,

Thank you for creating BARK Animal Rescue, Inc. Your newly established animal rescue foster care system is something that is needed in every state. Your volunteers do a tremendous job in getting these animals healthy and in good shape again. The animals come to you scared and lost, but you are able to help them by re-training them so that they can become kind companions to their new foster and adopted families.

The most important aspect of this rescue effort is that a majority of these animals are leaving abusive and neglectful homes, so it is great that the animals are taught how to trust people again and allowed to enter into loving homes. You and your volunteers are doing an amazing job with the animals and it will be exciting to see what you accomplish in the future.
