Target: United States Congress
Goal: Stop protesters from intentionally expelling clouds of soot at cars and pedestrians
There is a new hobby for anti-environmentalists involving the intentional emission of blankets of soot on pedestrians and other cars. These protesters need to be stopped from harming the environment, and more importantly innocent people.
The anti-environmentalist protesters call this new hobby “rolling coal,” and it is performed by expelling a cloud of soot from a pickup truck tail pipe. The truckers have been targeting pedestrians and other cars, specifically hybrid and eco-friendly vehicles, to protest the green movement.
This practice is extremely harmful, specifically for targeted pedestrians inhaling large amounts of the dangerous substance. Many health risks are linked to inhaling this diesel exhaust, such as cancer, eye irritation, headache, asthma, lung diseases, heart disease, and immune system problems. With many innocent people being exposed to these risks by ignorant people “rolling coal” it is deplorable that it is not yet illegal.
Please sign the petition below to protect the health of innocent people by making the act of “rolling coal’ illegal.
Dear United States Congress,
A new act of protest called “rolling coal” is emerging across the United States as a dangerous act against environmentalists and green practices. This is harming both the environment and innocent victims and must be stopped immediately.
Rolling coal involves modifications to pickup trucks that allow the trucks to expel a large amount soot from diesel exhaust. These truckers are targeting pedestrians on the road and other cars, specifically hybrids and eco-friendly cars. This is done in protests against those who aim to protect the environment.
There is no logical justification to protest the protection of the environment, and these protests are putting innocent victims at risk for many health issues. Risks associated with diesel fuel inhalation include cancer, eye irritation, headache, asthma, lung diseases, heart disease, and immune system problems. With these risks, it is unacceptable that this is not yet illegal.
We are writing to ask that you take steps to make rolling coal illegal to protect both the environment and the many innocent people that are affected by this distasteful act across the country.
