Target: Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, Malaysia Airlines C.E.O.
Goal: Find missing airplane containing 239 people
In our day and age, air travel is often the only way to get somewhere within a limited amount of time. Due to strict regulation of the industry, planes are statistically very safe. That is why when a consumer opts to fly somewhere, they believe they will get there safely. Recently, however, this did not happen. Malaysia Airlines lost an entire plane full of people. The jet contained 239 people, including the crew and passengers, and it disappeared somewhere between Kuala Lumpur and Beijing.
Although sometimes planes experience technical issues either before they take off or, tragically, sometimes in mid-air, there should never be any reason for a plane to just disappear. Passengers put their safety and lives in the hand of the airline when they embark on a plane. They expect to reach their destination–or at the very least, they expect their whereabouts to be known and accounted for at all times.
Demand that Malaysia Airlines does absolutely everything in its power to fix this situation and find the missing plane. In addition, it is critical that nothing like this ever happens again. Whatever went wrong needs to be figured out immediately and regulations need to be updated so that no one ever has to hear that their loved ones are missing and their whereabouts are unknown.
Dear Malaysia Airlines C.E.O. Ahmad Jauhari Yahya,
Recently a passenger jet carrying 239 people went missing on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. It is your company’s responsibility to maintain constant awareness of its inventory. This includes your jets and all passengers who opt to fly on your planes. It is absolutely unacceptable for any of your planes to go missing.
You need to make sure that recovering the plane is your number one priority. Finding out what went wrong and working to fix it should be your only concern at the moment. After the plane is found, you need to make sure that appropriate measures are put into place to ensure that this type of situation never happens again, no matter what these measures might cost.
People trusted your company and you violated that trust by losing an entire plane full of your customers. Your company has expressed regret about the situation, but what the families and friends on the plane need more than regret is for the passenger jet carrying their loved ones to be recovered as soon as possible. Please find them immediately and do everything you can to recover the plane and the missing passengers alive.
