Condemn Couple Who Set Fire to Puppy Business

Displaced Pets

Target: Gloria Eun Hye Lee and Kirk Bills

Goal: Condemn couple for torching Lee’s pet store

A woman by the name of Gloria Eun Hye Lee has pleaded not guilty in a case where she and her co-defendant, Kirk Bills were caught on video setting her puppy business on fire. There were twenty seven puppies inside her business and luckily all were saved thanks to sprinklers and firefighters. Lee and Bills are currently facing the state courts and both should be condemned for their reckless and greedy behavior.

Recently, video cameras in the Prince and Princess puppy store caught Kirk Bills pouring gasoline over the floors of the store and igniting it, while Gloria Lee fetched her files and left. The fire damaged both the puppy store and an adjacent store in the Las Vegas strip mall. Despite this damning piece of evidence, Lee is still pleading not guilty in the courts. The prosecutor Shanon Clowers believes the motive was for profit, although where the profit would come from, Clowers hasn’t stated.

Lee currently faces 31 felony and misdemeanor charges of arson, conspiracy, burglary, and attempted animal cruelty. Her posted bail is $310,000 and she is scheduled for a hearing later this year. Bills is awaiting a scheduled bail hearing, and he has not been asked to enter a plea, although his case may be taken to a grand jury.

As a pet store owner, Lee should have been loving and compassionate towards her puppies, but instead risked their lives for wealth. Obviously someone who has a blatant disregard for life should be tossed into jail, especially if they are willing to torch puppies to gain profits. Sign this petition to condemn both Lee and Bills for their inhumane and cruel actions.

Dear Gloria Eun Hye Lee and Kirk Bills,

I find it deeply troubling and disturbing that both of you would resort to arson and risk your puppies’ lives to gain some wealth. I cannot begin to imagine what previous customers who have bought puppies from your store would be thinking when news of your arrest was brought to their attention. As a pet store owner, you should be loving and compassionate toward these animals, not risking their lives for profit. You should both be deeply ashamed of yourselves, and I hope you are forever barred from owning a pet ever again.

Both of you should be condemned for your crimes, and I hope the courts place you in jail. People like you who have no love or compassion toward animals should never own pets, let alone be the ones to sell them to the public.
