Applaud Kraft for Removing Preservatives from Cheese

Goal: Thank Kraft Foods for removing preservatives from single slice cheeses

Kraft Foods has decided to remove artificial preservatives from its most popular wrapped cheese products, Kraft Singles American cheese varieties. Now that brands have come under major attack by nutritionists, Kraft has decided to change its manufacturing methods. Kraft has begun using a natural ingredient in its cheeses called natamycin, which is a “natural mold inhibitor,” replacing the artificial ingredient, sorbic acid.

Kraft Foods states that its decision to change its cheese recipe is due to an increasing number of Americans demanding more natural and nutritious foods. Consumers are now demanding less artificial ingredients than ever before. The adjustments took a couple of years to construct because Kraft wanted to make sure that the product still tasted the same and had the same shelf life.

The new Kraft cheeses are labeled with a red-colored sticker saying that they have no artificial preservatives or flavorings added to them. Kraft claims that it hasn’t used artificial colors for years but is now putting emphasis on it for its heath-conscious consumers. The company plans on expanding it to its other products as well.

Adults and children consume a huge amount of these products through grilled cheese sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, and their favorite homemade recipes. Thank you for your efforts in taking out the artificial preservatives and flavorings that have made your product very unhealthy and unnatural. This is a huge step for such a well-known company. More and more Americans are starting to scrutinize labels and advertisements to provide the most nutritional foods for the families. Consumers are a lot more health conscious these days, and it is good to see that your company is keeping up with the changing times. 

With all of these changes and prospective changes that Kraft has been making, it is well on its way to being incorporated into consumers’ healthy diets. Thank you for all that you are doing for your loyal fans.
